COME FROM AWAY
In a heartbeat, 38 planes with 6,579 passengers were stranded in a remote town in Newfoundland. The locals opened their hearts and homes, hosting this international community of strangers–spurring unexpected camaraderie in extraordinary circumstances. On September 11, 2001 the world stopped. On September 12, their stories moved us all.

During its five-year run on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, Come from Away completed 1,669 performances, received 7 Tony Nominations including Best New Musical, was nominated for 9 Drama Desk Awards including winning Outstanding Musical. Prior to Broadway, Come from Away had engagements in La Jolla, Seattle, and Washington D.C.

After Broadway, Come from Away launched a North American Tour and productions on the West End, Australia, Canada, and internationally. The West End production was nominated for 8 Olivier Awards, winning Best New Musical. In 2021, Come from Away (film) was released for streaming on Apple TV+. Come From Away is currently available for licensing through Music Theatre International.
